Most basic Ring doorbell installs start at $149, which covers mounting, wiring to your existing chime, app setup, and Wi-Fi configuration. If a transformer upgrade is needed (common in older OC homes), that's an additional $89. We give you a fixed price before we start — no surprises.

Most modern video doorbells (Ring Pro 2, Nest Hello) need a 16V–24V transformer. Older homes — especially anything built before 2010 — often have 8V or 10V transformers that won't power the doorbell reliably. We test your transformer on arrival and upgrade only if needed.

30–60 minutes for a straightforward replacement. Add 30 minutes if a transformer upgrade is needed, or if we're installing a doorbell where one never existed before (we run new wiring). We confirm the time window when you book.

Ring (all models), Nest Hello, Eufy, Arlo, Wyze, Aqara, and most others. If you bought the doorbell from a major retailer (Amazon, Costco, Best Buy, Home Depot), we install it. Don't have one yet? We can supply Ring and Nest at our cost.

Yes, often. Same-day slots open up by 10am most days — best chance to grab one is to call us first thing, or book online and check the "Today" option. After 2pm we usually book for the next morning.

We offer a 90-day workmanship guarantee on every install. If something we installed stops working (loose connection, configuration issue, app sync problem), we come back free of charge. If the doorbell hardware itself fails, we help you process the manufacturer warranty.

For panel work, dedicated circuits, EV chargers, and anything that requires inspection — yes, we pull permits with the city of Irvine, Tustin, Newport Beach, and surrounding OC cities. For doorbell installs, outlet replacements, and small repairs, no permit is needed.

Irvine, Tustin, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Coto de Caza, Newport Beach, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Dana Point, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, and surrounding south OC cities. Travel fees may apply for areas outside this zone — just ask.
